Check-In/Check-Out: Our local arrangements are handled from our permanent home-located just blocks away. Weekend rentals available for Friday arrival (after 3 pm) and Sunday departure (before 1 pm) and Weekly rentals must include a full weekend. Also additional days may be added to a weekend or weekly stay – if available. Late checkouts will be assessed an additional fee. Please let us know if you need to arrive early. If there are no renters prior to your arrival, we will be glad to allow you earlier access.
The following guidelines and policies will help assure your resort vacation pleasure, and will answer many of your questions. We encourage you to review the following:
Rental Policy: We rent to families, Companies, and Corporations. The responsible Guest must be 25 year of age to register and will be held responsible for the condition of the house when the rental period is over. Any use of our home for purposes other than small corporate rentals (with meetings), family vacations, wedding families or affairs listed above, must be addressed at the time of the reservation. We DO NOT rent to prom groups, spring break groups, fraternities, or sororities unless Parental Supervision is documented and financial responsibility signed with request for a larger security deposit.
Interiors: This is our Private Home and is furnished for our needs and tastes. Every effort has been made to insure all descriptions are accurate; however we are not responsible for changes we make in furnishings, bedding, and equipment. The home has central air and heat. There is one full bath.

Internet: Internet Access now available.
Entertainment : The house has TV with extended cable and a Radio/CD player

Furnished:
- Full kitchen
- Stocked with basics (condiments, coffee, etc.)
- Cooking and serving utensils, pots, pans and dishes
- Beach Towels, Bath Towels, hand towels, washcloths, & dish towels
Bedrooms: Two, fully furnished with one queen sized bed and two twin beds, 400 thread count linens, Down comforters and pillows.
When you leave:
- Please strip the beds (Sheets and pillow cases) you used
- Please take out the trash and generally pickup.
- Wipe down the kitchen counters and sweep.
- Load the dishwasher and remove your food from the fridge.
- Place chairs and furniture back the way you found them.
Thank you for taking about ½ an hour to pick up before you leave. This will also help you find your last minute belongings. We will have only 2 hours before the next guests arrive, so all you can do to pick up will be appreciated.
Parking: Parking is available on the street in front of the house; Parking for bikes is permitted in the back yard behind the fence.
Maid Service : Please treat this as your own home. To reduce costs – we have maid service only between visits. Vacuum, broom, cleaning products can all be found in the storage room or under the sink. Also – please take the trash regularly to the garbage can – we have service to take out the garbage cans for the city pickup.
Smoking: Smoking allowed on the front porch only. Please use furnished ashtrays and do not throw ashes or butts into the yard. Smoking inside the house will result in loss of the entire security deposit.
Reservation Deposits and Payment Methods: Advance reservations required with the $125 security deposit. And unless otherwise stated in contract, at least 50% of total rental fee due 7 days prior to arrival date and balance due at check in. We accept Checks (for deposits and advance payments), Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express. Security Deposit will be refunded within 5 days (via credit card credit or check) or upon checkout – if Cash payment.
Cancellation Policy : Cancellations are required 1 month (30-days) before the arrival date and are subject to a $25 cancellation fee, refunded within 5 days of the cancellation date. Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit deposit (Full advanced rental fees will be refunded).
Eviction Policy: If we ask the renter to leave for breaking any of these states rules, the full rental fee and deposits will NOT be refunded.
Theft or Damage : We understand that accidents do happen. Please let us know of any broken or damaged item so that we can have it repaired or replaced. The fair value of repairing the damage and/or relative replacement value will be deducted from the security deposit. If you are found to be DELIBERATELY NEGLIGENT in the destruction or theft of any property in, around, or to the house itself, you will lose the entire security deposit, we will bill you for the amount above the deposit, and we will file criminal charges of vandalism. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy when it comes to Theft or Vandalism. We take it personally – this is our HOME!
Keys: A maximum of two sets of keys, will be issued at check-in. Please make sure these are returned – or – the cost of replacement will be deducted from your deposit.
Lost & Found: Items left will be held for 30 days and labeled with the date found. Upon proper identification of item, the lost item can be mailed to you at your expense. |
